During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 3D realistic games on iOS in Africa showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower highlights these trends.

NEW STATE : NEW ERA OF BR, developed by KRAFTON Inc, saw a significant drop in weekly downloads from 164K in early November to just over 4K by the end of December. Weekly revenue also declined, starting at $3.3K and ending the quarter at around $655. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 159K to approximately 24K.

PUBG MOBILE from Tencent Mobile International Limited maintained a relatively stable download rate, averaging around 13K-16K weekly downloads. Revenue fluctuated considerably, peaking at $161K in mid-December. Active users saw a slight decline from 663K at the beginning of October to around 573K by the end of December.

eFootball™ 2024 by KONAMI experienced a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads grew from 12.5K to 15.6K over the quarter, and active users rose from 310K to 362K. Revenue had some notable peaks, reaching around $6.3K in the week leading up to Christmas.

Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games, published by Wildlife Studios, showed a modest increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 12K mid-December. Revenue also saw an upward trend, culminating at approximately $4K in the same period. Active users increased from 50K to about 61K throughout the quarter.

Call of Duty®: Mobile by Activision Publishing, Inc. had steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 8K and 12K. Revenue saw significant spikes, particularly in early December, reaching $38K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 124K and ending the quarter at around 98K.
